About Us
Beautique Skin & Body Therapy, owned by Fiona Wilton, is your beauty therapy haven in the heart of Thorndon, Wellington.
Fiona has 20 years of experience in the beauty therapy industry, having worked at New Leaf Johnsonville, and Is Bliss on Taranaki St. Beautique is minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Wellington, with FREE client parking!
You are invited to relax in our beautiful surroundings and enjoy all aspects of beauty therapy from skincare to facials, electrolysis, massage, microdermabrasion, manicures, pedicures and spa packages.
Our other Therapist, Libby, loves caring for people. Her warm nature and incredible empathy will make you feel welcome every time you visit. She loves massage and waxing and has worked in Paraparaumu and Karori. She has an understanding of problematic skin and loves to find skincare solutions for people who suffer congestion and breakouts! She is working through some advanced education programmes to keep the knowledge flowing to her clients, dispelling myths and understanding the facts.
Fiona is also keeping abreast of changes in an ever changing industry of beauty. She is an expert at electrolysis and loves seeing the transformation this can allow in her clients.
"Through removal of excess hair clients self esteem is often drastically affected, and this is amazing to be a part of. Often these clients may also suffer problems with ingrown hairs, and rough thickened skin, which can also be improved."
At Beautique Skin and Body Therapy we welcome all genders. We have experience with treating transgender/transsexual clients and supporting them through their changes. We particularly find these clients come to us to remove facial hair and to learn how to care for their skin better as it changes through hormonal treatments. We offer free electrolysis consultations so any client can experience our electrolysis skills and make an informed decision on whether they wish to head down that path.
Both Libby and Fiona have a passion for Beauty Therapy and through our business partnerships are able to extend their knowledge on an ongoing basis, learning new skills and ingredient knowledge and the science of beauty in an ever changing world.

PARKING
There is a car park area available to the rear of the Shamrock complex (behind the Indus Indian Restaurant) which you are able to utilise when there is availability. There are coupon parking areas on Harriett St and Tinakori Rd which are free for the first two hours without a coupon. Often there are parks available towards Tinakori Village by Premier House. This is 120 mins free parking. We also allow our customers to park in front of our premises blocking our driveway on Tinakori Rd. This is especially useful for those who have mobility issues.
